Why does this forum cost money? was created by Anne Lee
I don't get why a forum is costing money, as I've never had any professional advice on here, and what replies I have had are from the general public saying they don't know or are guessing

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

You are not paying for advice on the forum, this is provided as a courtesy, your subscription pays for access to all of our claim and appeal guides.

With due respect. The guides on here for DLA,PIP,ESA and Appeals i have been using
are not only excellent but are "Passport to Success". I have been using them for years
and can state without using them one would not know where to start. What you get access
to is far more than the money you pay.
Further the advice you get on the forum from forum advisors is equivalent to or far better than any professional you may go to.
Appreciate what you are getting.
Patel.

Thank you Patel for your kind words.
The guides on the forum are well written and not by me, I do used them myself and they are frequently updated, especially at this moment in time.
If you have not already done so, I would sign up to the free news letter which helps keep you up to date with what is going on.

I think the money that I have spent on subscriptions to this site, is well worth it.
I find it useful to connect with and hear the comments of other claimants.
Their struggles and their successes give me hope.
I would trust the first hand knowledge of a claimant before I would trust an "expert"
Saying that the moderators on here give excellent advice.
Have also had some supportive comments from other members.
I know that the guides are used by professionals. In fact an organisation (no names mentioned) for disabled claimants once told me that they use these guides themselves.

I must admit that I was overwhelmed with it all to begin with as there is so much information on here, & it took me a long time to find the stuff, let alone read & understand it. But if you persevere & read all the guides, you with get so much from this website.
The mods are here every day, twice a day, giving up their valuable time to answer our many, & often complex questions. I sometimes look back & read my own question & I don't understand it, so it must be difficult for them.
Plus the advice from members experience is very useful too, as you may at some point be in their situation.
I actually got my award back upon MR because of these people! Honestly you can look & read & not understand, then next moment you're shocked by your own knowledge. All thanks to this site. I'd happily pay a lot more for all of this.
