wonder if you can advise me my partner got no points for both care and mobility ,sent in a complaints to atos ,recieved a letter stating they appologised for the assesor not reading all his information ,and then forwarded a revised assesment to dwp .my son phoned and we got a copy of the revised pip going by tha he should have got 8 points for care and 20 points for mob .he asked to speak to someone about this and was told to send information to the mr is that what you have to do as i am unsure who to believe depending who you get on the other end of the phone .thanks please advise me.

The DWP is under no obligation to revise their Decision just because a new assessment report has been produced, you need to still request an MR using the new report, I would actually enclose a copy with your request.

will do will enclose a copy but also keep a copy as if they dont change things we will go for appeal as soon as, considering they admitted they had done the first one unfairly,im sure with all the evidence we will get it ,i think if they can take the first report and stop all payments quick enough the dwp should take the new one with all the information they ignored first time round,they have caused us terrible hardship during the coronavirus ,being disabled is so expensive for us ,and so upsetting having to go through this .thanks.will let you know.
