Copy of assessors report received was created by Kevsue19
Just to let you all know, I received a copy of the assessors report this morning- telephone assessment was last Tuesday, report received at DWP last Friday (I got a text) and I phoned on Friday. It was sent be second class post and received today.
I have to say it reflects exactly what I said , the Assessor appears to have looked at all the evidence sent in over the last 6 years, and the report is much more detailed than my last assessment which is bizarre considering the last one was face to face. She has indicated that my conditions have deteriorated and may deteriorate further (as I have macular retinopathy in addition to my mobility issues)
the report was factual , detailed and it made me smile that the observations said I was polite and friendly that is exactly how I described her on a previous post on here! So fingers crossed the decision maker will agree with her as the points are the same as my current award. Now comes the wait for the brown envelope!

Decisions seem to be taking at least 12 weeks at the moment.

Thank you Gordon. She said 8-10 weeks on the call but last time I waited 4 months! At least they have extended my current award until January, that should give them time!

You need to contact the DWP office dealing with your claim, the number should be on any of the letters that you have received about your benefits.
