Hi I don’t know if I’ve put enough down in my form even with the help pages. My fibro fog makes it difficult for me to concentrate on things like this and my brain goes into shut down. I have spondylolisthesis grade 4 and I am in constant lower back pain, fibromyalgia so have pain all over most days along with the brain fog, acid and bile reflux. I take meds for all of these. I haven’t seen my back surgeon since 2016 but I am due an x ray on the 18th and apart from that I have no other evidence apart from what the doctor holds. Should I write more in the additional information and if so what? I have had DLA and PIP in the past and had them taken away through assessments and had a horrible appeal that put me off claiming again. I’m really stressed about trying again.
There are no rules about the amount of information you put on a PIP form. Some people but a couple of sentences in the boxes and that's it. Others add lots of additional information. I have certainly known people who submit very little get an award and those who send in a lot get an award. Conversely in the both categories ( a little and a lot of extra information) are sometimes refused. It's not the amount that counts. It's how well you write to the PIP criteria under each question.
