Can an American Claim was created by kah22
A friend from America is considering apply for PIP she is married to a lUK citizen for at least 18 years and has worked all that time however, she still holds her American Citizenship. She has not been out of the country for at least the past two years and when she does go back to America it’s for no more than four weeks
I appreciate PIP is awarded on how you are effected not the condition itself She has had the condition ( Pulmonary sarcoidosis) for six years

My question at this juncture is,’as an American Citizen would she be entitled to PIP given, of course, that she meets the PIP criteria’ ?

Hi Kevin

If you look at the government website it gives you the information for those who are not British citizens. In this case it would seem so if she lives here on a permanent basis.
