Who & How to Ask for Pip Report was created by MissVeeBee
Hello,

Today I helped my son with his telephone pip assessment as he added me in for a 3 way conference call.

It seemed to go well but who knows. I hope so anyway!

I've seen that you can request a copy of this report and just wondering who to ask and when?

Is it the DWP or the company that called. It wasn't Atos it was the other one.

Do we need to wait for a text from DWP.

Thanks

Hi MissVeeBee

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is.

Welcome to Benefits and Work .

You can contact the DWP usually 48 hrs after the assessment and ask for a copy of the assessors report called a PA4. You don't normally get a text from DWP after an assessment.

If you have any further questions please come back to the forum.

Hi MissVeebee, do please do as Gary suggests. By the way, should you get one of the percentage of phone-answerers who claim you cannot have the report, just end the call politely and try again. I hope you won't get one, but please be prepared for a nasty shock when you read the report. The last face-to-face our daughter had, the guy seemed really nice, but the report was a very different matter.
If you feel that what you read is not accurate and fully fair in any way, please be aware you CAN write in ASAP to DWP to correct this. Last time, doing so changed what would have been an awful award for our daughter into a top one, without the stress of MR and Appeal at all.
Very best, Denby
