When I tried to telephone the DWP to get an extension for filling in the pip review form - there is a recorded message by DWP advising the current ‘return by’ cut off date for the pip review form that was issued. It is ambiguous and I don’t know if it means return by 18th April or 18th May? I don’t have the energy to listen to the message repeatedly to decipher. Does anybody have any clarity on this? Unable to speak to an actual DWP person it seems.

I am not sure what number you phoned but I have never received a recorded phone message advising the current return by date.

The number you need to phone is the PIP helpline: 0800 121 4433, best time to phone is first thing in the morning, 8.00 am.
