hello. is it right you cant claim enhanced mobility over pension age, i get lower rate mobility, and was diagnosed with dementia in 2019 aged 69,i applied for change of circumstances, i was told that i cant be awarded higher rate mobility because i was over 65yrs old and that was the law, i was awarded higher rate living allowance,, Is that right about being over pension age it cant be enhanced ? thank you for any help
I'm sorry to say, the information you have been given I absolutely correct. If you weren't awarded enhanced mobility before the age of 65, it can't be awarded afterwards.
