Hi libra1

You are correct, we are seeing a lot of conflicting information from fellow members of the forum. We have heard from members who have gone way past their due date and have not phoned DWP as they do not want to rock the boat.

I cannot give you any precise information as I do not know myself, as soon as we are aware of any information we will publish it in our news letter which usually comes out once every two weeks.

Sorry I can not be more precise.

Gary

Hi ThisGovernmentsGoneToFar and to all,

I was in a similar boat as yourself, my last review was in 2016, they sent form out ESA50,
i filled it all out sent it back. one year later still no word from dwp or maximus.

by them my health has taken many changes with new diagnoses etc. Then all of a sudden they called me in for an assessment.

I wrote back and told them, its unfair calling me in like thais, you have kept waiting over 12 months after having all the forms and medical evidence.

I sent the dwp tons of stuff, and also to maximus, they phoned me up to arrange a date, i did. They cancelled it, they phoned up again in the evening, i was not happy i went up the wall with them.

They called again, fixed a date, and on the same morning they phoned me up and said the assessment had been cancelled, and that they had everything they needed.

Hence they did a paper back review. As you can imagine i felt like on i was on cloud 9 lol. Anyroad so since then ive been in the SG.

On a final note i got the bottle up last week i think, and sort of raised the question about when will i be re-assessed for ESA. Tha lady said don't worry your not due til june 2023.

So i was left shocked, i couldn't believe my luck. So by then it would had been over 6 years in the SG. People say never wish your life away, well i do in some respect having to jump through hoops and appeals etc.

When my next ESA review comes up i will almost be retired, and i cant wait as it means no more ESA form filling, no more assessments, and no more MR's and or appeals.

Good luck to all we are all going to need it.

Mrfibro.

It's a nightmare trying to understand the logic of the DWP punishing claimants in this way especially when they so much evidence to back everything up.. My last ESA SG was over 5 years before the last one in August 2018 giving me that 2 year prognosis which was done on papers only as did the one before.

I state on all my forms I won't ever attend another assessment contact all the HP I've listed on these forms, so far they've given me an easier ride than many of the claimants suffering on here.

I've already stated I will NEVER move on to UC. I'm not to far of retirement either I've managed to save a few quid to get to the finishing line I hope.

Good luck to everyone I feel for each and everyone of you.

I was formely known as (GoingOffMyHeadWithThisGovernment) Won PIP November 2017 ongoing award HR both. Now kept and got my ESA Support group but took a while.
