hi i was awarded pip high rate care and no mobility was given 4 points needs prompting. this was despite a letter from consultant saying i couldnt go out alone. this was in nov 2016. i have had mental illness for over 20 years and condition hasnt improved infact its got worse. i read about the leap review but am unable to use the phone so cant speak to dwp. is it worth me writing to them if so what do i ask for is it a leap review, i dont want my whole award looked at again or to get a review form sent as i am unable to cope with it. so what do i need to ask for and state that i dont want. sorry if this is bit muddled, thankyou

Hi Clair
In case you are not aware, your real email address appears to be showing in the forum, you need to change this please follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
We have had a number of members who have contact DWP about LEAP review only to be sent a PIP review form, have a look at our news letter dated 23/06/21 www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/4403-23-june-2021-update.
If you are unable to phone then write to the DWP, you need to state that you are not asking for your current claim to be reviewed but that you believe you may come under the LEAP review. When you send the letter in you need to send it by recorded delivery.
