Currently we operate under the UK system, so our experience is identical to those in England. It looks as though the Scottish legislation will not be implemented until 2024/25 at the earliest. This is partly due to Covid, and partly due to governmental wrangling over the quality of data planned to be transferred. Certainly, from what I've read, the Scottish legislation was devised by consulting all stakeholders, including claimants. This appears to be reflected in terms of the process appearing to be much more humane in its focus. Despite the theory being admirable, I guess only time will tell regarding the practise!!
