So, briefed anxious friend who wanted my support from notes made from B&W, on how to deal with their ESA phone assessment. CHDA had given an hour window. We sat, and sat, and sat. Then called as per Guide. CHDA number was faulty, so could not contact them via either mobile [very many attempts all logged...], leaving landline free for the incoming call. Called DWP and was cut off after 10 mins. Emailed CHDA and did receive a 'sorry your assessment did not take place as planned, case manager will contact you' email reply.
So they have wasted quite a few miles driving, and four hours out of two peoples' lives, and we have got to go through it all again whenever. MP has been notified! Silver lining is, now a recording by CHDA has been formally requested, claimant was not aware this was possible as the booking letter fails to mention this.
