So if I have bipolar 2....I kept having episodes til mid 2020. Well since then but still taking meds.

Started working and told dwp so came off uc.

I get pip for daily living- which is an issue when I have an episode or mania or depression. Of course I am ok between episodes. Obviously I can’t predict if or when I will have another episode.

With bipolar it’s unpredictable- you could have a long period of stability then suddenly be unstable.

I still have a daily worry it will all come back. But currently I am managing well and have been for a while.

So do I tell dwp my circumstances have changed? Or do I wait til my review?

If you think your condition has improved in a way that affects your award then you are supposed to inform the DWP.. It is always difficult for claimants who have conditions that deteriorate at a moment's notice, and some people would inform the DWP immediately and others would wait to ensure they are stable. I can only tell you what the DWP say - which is that you should inform them if your condition has improved.
