Hi, I’ve gotten a supporting letter from the resource co-ordinator (effectively point of contact) at the outreach charity I work with for my PIP review and they’ve included within that section 1.5.5 of the PIP assessment process guide should be apply to my case.
I’m unsure if this is a good or bad thing, as whilst last time I went for an assessment it was really stressful and they just used everything I said against me, I’m concerned I could end up with less points than if I went to an assessment with an assessor that was genuine.
It’s not very clear how they apply the thresholds here, as I don’t want to end up with a lower award because I don’t go to an assessment, but equally I know if I go to an assessment I could end up with one of the many bad apples that in as many words says there’s nothing wrong me as it’s not a physical condition.
