Morning All ,

Does one get asked by DWP to attend a f2f after submitting the pip 1043 form ?
If so , is this carried out soon after ?

Further , can I apply for an extension if required by me ?

Is one allowed to copy in the assessors visual description of my hands back at my f2f in 2019 - ‘ the MSO showed she had reduced pinch and power grip and the IO showed observed swelling and changes within the shape of her hands indicating the need for aids ‘

Most claimants will be given a telephone assessment - although a few people are being asked to face to face. How soon they are being offered after you send the form in - it's impossible to say in the current climate -as some people have been offered one in a couple of weeks and some after several months.

If you want a copy of any of your records that the DWP hold you will need to put in a subject access request.
