You can ask for the assessment to be recorded, and you should be sent a copy. You shouldn't have to put in for a SAR, but you can do if necessary. Be aware that some people have been told that the equipment has been faulty afterwards, so they haven't had a recording, which is why we suggest that people do their own covert recording, if they are able to.
