Whilst it can be easier, especially for those who struggle to communicate with the DWP, I can't agree that requesting an MR by phone is the best to ask the DWP to look at a Decision again.
Requesting by phone means you are placing a call centre operator between you and the Decision Maker, you are reliant on them taking down your concerns accurately and in sufficient detail to make sense to the DM, you will not be able to make detailed arguments, references to your evidence or indeed to provide new evidence as available.
