Hello,

I've read I can accept DWPs award before going to Tribunal then once in payment I can appeal that award. I've decided to do this after my hearing being adjourned and now waiting 7 weeks for a new date. My mental health needs a rest.

I've called PIP and someone from the appeals team is calling me back. Whilst waiting I wondered if you could give me a sentance that I can send to UC regarding the non dependent payments as discussed above please? I don't want to get the wording wrong.

Thank you

Regards Anita

Hi Anita,

In my eyes, it's best to word things how you usually would as a person, then that way they'll relate it to you as sending the message.

Regards, Chris.

Hello, Thank you for your response. Should I say something like "I have been awarded PIP back dated to 17th May 2022. I understand that the Non dependent payment being taken from my UC no longer applies. Can you please review my payments?" Thank you Regards Anita

Hi Anita,

Sounds perfectly adequate to me - It gets straight to the point for the person required to answer it for you. :)

Regards, Chris.
