PIP waiting times for review was created by robby

I sent in my PIP review form at the end of last Summer and apart from the odd text telling me that they will get back to me at sometime, i am still in limbo with no phone call or medical and i am still being paid as normal. After some 10 months, does anyone know if there is a huge backlog or another reason for this? Its usual for me to be hearing from them on a weekly basis once i have sent in my form, but this is all very worrying and stressful for me just waiting. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Robby

Yes, the DWP has a backlog, so it's almost impossible to say how long you might have to wait. We have had members of B&W who have waited 18 months for an assessment after they sent a review form in. The only way to get some sort of timescale is to ring the DWP and ask if they can give you an update.
