Hello helpful people on my phone.

So I first applied for PIP in December. Had a phone assessment this morning and I'm so nervous about the outcome now. I really tried to follow the advice I've read on here but even with notes in my hand I forgot to mention some things and I know for sure that I didn't go into enough detail with some questions. I'm so annoyed with myself. I've got severe anxiety and depression along with a host of other health issues and Autism and I had to ask the assessor to explain some questions better because I didn't understand what she meant.

Just to add incase anyone is interested she said I should get a decision within 8 weeks from now but sometimes it can be earlier. So hopefully I won't have to anxiously wait for too long.

  			 				Hi MummyBear,

You could've wrote the exact same post about myself. I have been through exactly the same process, with the same symptoms, and more. You'll probably receive a form with a load of inaccurate information, like a lot of claimants do, and then have to go down the MR stage. It's very difficult to try get all the information in, because sometimes what they ask you, doesn't cover specifically what notes you've written about.
All you can do now, is wait, and see what they come back with, and see as to whether you're happy with the decision, or want to contest it. You can apply for a PA4 - 48 hours after your assessment, by calling the helpline.

Good luck!

Chris.
