My sister has just received her ESA to UC migration letter but due to her health problems there is no way she can cope with completing it herself, she is in the ESA Support group. If I complete it all for her do I have to tell UC that she is not completing the application and I am? Does the online application ask the question 'is someone else completing this for you?'
The DWP say that if someone is unable for health reasons to administer their UC claim then it is appropriate for them to have an Appointee. Would you be happy to be your sister's Appointee? www.gov.uk/become-appointee-for-someone-claiming-benefits
