UC Housing Benefits not being paid

In February I migrated from ESA to UC and it seemed to go smoothly, however after contacting my housing association to inform them of my rent increase, they informed me that my housing benefits have not been paid for nearly two months!

I know it’s paid in arrears but surely it should’ve been paid by now? Is this a normal thing to happen soon after migration?

I know I’m going to have to send UC a message on my journal but I’m dreading what they are going to say and that I might have to speak to them. My mental health is extremely bad at the moment partly due to a bereavement so this is really worrying me.

In my identity interview on the phone, I told them I wanted them to pay my housing benefits directly to my housing association and also recorded the interview.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I don’t know how to do this because I don’t have a computer. Going to a library etc to use one is out of the question as I rarely go out and can’t use a computer.

It just says in my journal that they would pay my landlord the housing benefit from the 5th of April. I can’t find any other info about that so I don’t know if housing costs have been paid.

Sorry, I’m just finding this so complicated, ESA wasn’t like this.
