I am going to one of the dwp consultations, that’s if It doesn’t get cancelled !
I’m interested in this point of transitional relief, and would like to get some views on this.
143. We are mindful of the impact this change could have on people and so want to consider how we can best support those affected. This includes options for transitional protection for those who are no longer eligible for PIP and the entitlements linked to their award. In addition, we also want to consider how to support those with lower needs in a large number of PIP activities, as part of these changes. We are consulting on whether those who lose entitlement need any support and what this support could look like (see consultation question 2).
2. What support do you think we could provide for those who will lose their Personal Independence Payment entitlement as a result of a new additional requirement to score at least 4 points on one daily living activity?
I’m not entirely sure what they have in mind knowing the dwp? This would presumably apply to someone who got the required points in a reassessment but not the 4 pointer, then required.
A chat with a friendly dwp person☹️😭 A occupation health visitor 🙁 A lump sum say £2000 (standard) £3000 (enhanced) Pip frozen at its current rate for a specific period £x to spend on aids and adaptions
I’m just being silly with this, but wonder if anyone had any thoughts on it, that I could pass on.
