Good afternoon, my UC award migration is complete and I have been awarded transitional protection. My current Housing benefit is on the lower rate on my tiny room. If I move to a one bed flat which I could if I could be awarded the current HB rate would Ioose transitional protection

Your question is outside the remit of this forum, but transitional protection is paid to ensure that people are not worse off UC than they were on ESA. So as far as I understand the system, a change of housing won't affect that. You can ring the UC helpline to check.
