I currently get standard amount which is currently being reviewed, im not sure whether to report changes (worsening health) or wait for the review and then do this any ideas as apparently its random what they decide to do...what evidence do i need to support changes
Hi Charlie192, If you believe that you should now qualify for a higher rate of benefit, then it is important to explain how your health has become worse. Please be aware that just because health is worse this may not necessarily mean more benefit. For example if you struggle to bend to do up shoes etc, but now can't get trousers on, this is still 2 points. Similarly there is 4 points for walking ability at 50-200m. So if your ability was 180m and now is only 60m mathematically that's a big difference but still same points. However if you are shortly due a review you could wait until then, but that could delay an increase of benefit if you can show this. If you report a change if circumstances now, prior to a review I suspect you will get a review form anyway. I hope this helps. LL26
