ESA to UC - To do list - we will call you & form questions

Hello everyone i have a couple questions please if anyone can help answer:

1) My husband and I just made a ESA migration to UC joint claim and all was going well. My husbands ID was confirmed online but then for me after i answered the questions it said passed but then i got message on to do list for me saying "we will call you" in the next 2 or 3 days. However its been over 3 days now and nobody has contacted me. I called UC helpline and they said someone will be in touch but nobody is. What should I do - as it is still on to do list. i am sacred this will cause delays or maybe a glitch.

2) Also another thing i am worried about is, my hasband was main ESA claimant and I am ‘non-claimant partner’. We both ticked we received ESA on forms - should only my husband have ticked it? I am worried it will cause confusion and problem especially being awarded support group

Hi stan

The DWP have admitted they are experiencing delays owing to the huge numbers of new claims and staff shortages which will only increase in a couple of weeks when the school summer holiday starts.
If you have not had a WCA or are your husband's carer you will more than likely be asked to attend the Jobcentre for an employment related interview.

Let me know how you get on.

I got the message ‘we will call you in 2 to 3 days’ as I couldn’t verify my identity online. They didn’t call but I got a message booking me in for a biographical phone call on my journal. Maybe write a message on your journal asking for an appointment?

Hi K

Here is the experience of another Forum member regarding the Biographical Test

"I had the biographical phone call yesterday, they rung about 5 mins after appointment time, I was asked previous name I was known by, what benefit did I claim first Esa or Pip, and finally what was my postcode, Then the lady explained to me about UC, saying what happens next date of payment etc, then asked if I had any questions which I asked are they aware Im being migrated from Esa support group and she said yes it is on my screen and you will receive transitional protection , that was it nothing else, took about 10 mins in all "
