I haven’t yet started my form although I need to soon.
I want to be prepared for when they may request me to attend the job centre for an appointment,
I am esa support group and 95% housebound. (Both Physical and mental health issues). So will need a phone call or home visit. It’s possible someone could accompany me to an appointment if it can fit in with their work schedule, but a phone call (and less so but I think a home visit) would take less toll on my health because it does all have an impact.
Can you let me know what I will need to do and how you do it if they ask me to attend the job centre to request these alternatives?
They are trying to do the migrations over the phone. They seem to ask people into the job centre if they can't verify a person's identity online or over the telephone.
So I wouldn't worry about it. If you do get a request to go to a job centre, you ring the helpline and explain why you can't attend, and they will arrange a phone call or a home visit.
