Hi I listened to the debate on Tuesday and it was refreshing to see so many labour mps finding the back bone to oppose these cuts sadly my own MP agreed with everything that was in the original green paper a so called labour MP anyway does anyone know how these changes will affect pensioners who are already receiving PIP I was already on standard daily living and enhanced mobility and was given a on going award before reaching state pension age and it’s not due for review until 2033 does anyone know if there are any protections for people of state pension age in the changes or proposed changes to the bill like everybody on this site the amount of stress and worry this has given me is unreal and thanks to all for your commitment to fight these cruel changes and for all the hard work from the benefits and work team

Hi Robbo

The changes they had originally proposed to PIP were abandoned, and so at the moment, there aren't any. At the current time, you would expect to receive a light-touch review at some point in 2033.

Keep an eye out for the newsletter for any changes in the future.
