Hi

I migrated to UC on the 30/06/25. I verified my id in a phone interview that day, and was told my claim was accepted and I would be paid 5 weeks later. I was told I would receive a two week run on if esa, which I received on Friday.
However, it has been 14 days today and U have received no hb run on.
The last time I received a hb payment was 16/06/25. Exactly two weeks before the date I claimed UC. As housing benefit is paid in arrears, should I not have received those two weeks owed?

I'm sorry but we are not able to answer housing benefit questions, they are outside the remit of this forum. I do know that several people have reported problems with the UC system paying out HB to councils and landlords in time, which has led to people finding themselves in rent arrears. This is something you will have to raise with the DWP
