Had a missed call from 0800 023 2635 this morning and then a message saying:
“Personal Independence Payment tried to call you regarding your reconsideration request. We will call you again this afternoon/tomorrow morning.”
But the last I heard from them was on 7th July when I got this message:
“Update on your PIP claim. You asked us to look at your decision again. We expect to look at your case by 22/8/2025. You do not need to contact us unless your circumstances change. Thank you”
I’m now up the wall. What could they be calling me for? I’m a really anxious person so I hate it when they get in touch. It makes me feel like I’ve done something wrong and I’m in trouble.
I can't tell you exactly why they phoned you, but it is usually to clarify something. I know you are going to worry about it, but it won't be because you have done anything wrong.
