New to applying for UC

Hello all.

I was recently diagnosed by my doctor as having CFS, and he wrote me a Fit Note. I've struggled for years trying to work (I opened various online businesses to try to keep afloat financially) whilst being exhausted and the aftermath that comes with pushing too hard, but in the end I realised I just don't have the mental or physical stamina to work.

This is the first time I'm having to apply for UC, and was recommend to join and subscribe to this site. I've done a fair bit of reading about the test, and took a practice test (failed miserably), and so I'm absolutely dreading the real process of applying for UC.

I talked to Citizien's Advice who said my local office could help me to apply for it, buy I'm worried they won't be able to understand/help fully to be granted UC.

Stress and worry are plaguing me at the moment because of this.

Any help and advice much appreciated.

My self-employed businesses didn't really earn much, and I don't have any now, so technically I'm simply not working or earning.

Your advice is much appreciated. None of those businesses are active any more, and thy didn't really earn anything. At the moment I'm not self-employed, and I have no income, so I'll pick that option (if there is one).
