I have moved both your posts - because you added them onto someone else's post (you are not the only one), and it's getting confusing, to see who we are answering in the one thread. We ask people not to do that, otherwise someone might not get the right answer.
I have a family member with no photo id and it meant he had a home visit, but it was all over within five minutes with proof of a birth certificate, a bill and a P60. Other documents would also have been accepted. This still had to be done even though they had an appointee. It was the appointee who showed them the documentation.
