Paper based pip was created by boris1
Hi
I had message from dwp saying my assessment is complete so I presume it was paper based.
Do they send you a copy of the assessment report or do you have to request it?
If you have to request it, what is it called please?

Hi boris1
If you haven't had a telephone, video or face-to-face assessment, you are right to assume they have carried out a paper-based assessment. I'm afraid that since the pandemic, they have stopped writing assessment reports for paper-based assessments. You can ask the DWP for one, but they won't have done one. I know of one member who put in a Subject Access Request to be given any notes that were made for the paper-based assessment. I'm not sure that they received anything of use. The old report was a PA5 I think

Hi Bis
Thank you
Why are they still taking so long to answer their phones?
There's really no excuse for it.
People in other jobs would surely not get away with such incompetence.

Hi boris1
It's due to the volume of calls they get, I always find first thing in the morning is the best time to get through.
When you say people in other jobs would surely not get away with it, unfortunately people in other jobs do get away with it, I receive many complaints about not getting through or no one answering the phone. I can remember not too long ago when you were told how long the queue was or approx waiting time.
