New to new style ESA was created by Greyabbey2
  			 				Hi,

Recently dismissed due to ill health deteriorating although only in my 50s, and so have applied for new style ESA as have been working for decades. I have the paperwork (ESA50) to complete, which is slightly daunting and have been reading some of the guidance provided; thank you.

I am in receipt of low level PIP for daily living currently, so it is going to be a struggle money wise for us but unfortunately I'm just not well enough to work which is quite sad for me.

My partner works full time, and i don't think it is likely we would be able to claim any further benefits. My question is whether completing the paperwork will trigger any kind of PIP review or change? Although my health has gotten worse, with further diagnoses; it worries me that they could then decide to remove this following all of the cutbacks.
Any advice would be really helpful.

  			 				Hi Greyabbey2

Your PIP award is safe for now, it will be at risk when your PIP is reviewed.

As for your NS ESA, this can last for up not one year, if you are placed in the support group then your NS ESA is indefinite, until you are re-assessed and found fit for work/LCW.

When you claim NS ESA, your partners income is not taken into account.
