The DWP is now monitoring our bank accounts. I have seen news articles about people being falsely accused of going abroad. There are probably other things. I don't want to be one of them! What are they actually looking for?
The legislation has not yet passed through parliament - it is expected to start in April 2026. They are trying to combat fraud. And they won't just be looking through people's bank accounts. Steve will report on it once the legislation is passed and what the implications will be.
