QUESTION ABOUT IIDB was created by anees292
QUISTEN FOR LL26

For some other reason I went in citizen bureau to ask something, when they check my documents and asked few question then they inform me I can apply Industrial Injuries

Disablement Benefit (IIDB) due to my Plantar Fasciitis because it was started on my job and at the end I left my job due to this reason.

I am on PIP getting both higher rate, and about this plantar fasciitis I already informed them in PIP form.

My question is can I apply IIBD as per citizen bureau, before I start I need your kindly advise please.

I had very long fight for PIP and very worry about to lose anything in PIP, also I was reading if I apply IIDB they will call me for new

medical assessment? Is this medical assessment can damage my PIP because I cannot afford to lose PIP.

And lastly if I can apply IIDB then can I use the words like repeatedly, reliably and safely like PIP.

Thank you

Hi anees292

Here is a good guide to Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit from Citizens Advice and how receiving it can lead to a reduction in other Benefits:-
www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-...ere-injured-at-work/

Let me know how you get on.

Hi anees292

Your question is outside the remit of the forum, we cannot give one to one advice as we do not know all the circumstances.

We would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Specialist; you can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation to help you with advice by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies in your area advicelocal.uk
