Afternoon.
I recently applied for Attendance Allowance for my husband after a year of increasing medical issues. I looked to apply online and printed off the form. I then got the B&W guide which advised applying for a postal form to get the backdated element.
The form which came was different from the one downloaded and completely different from the numbering, headings and boxes laid out in the guide form B&W! Anyone else had this issue?? I decided to go with the postal version and used the guide as best I could to match the questions.
The good news is that he has a phone call less than a week after submitting the form, after a bit of clarification on a couple of points was told he'll receive a decision in the next 7 days - less than 3 weeks from submission - must be a record!
Can someone have a look at the AA guide and bring it up to match the form if its not already in hand? Thanks Ann Carter

Thanks for your view on the AA guide. Can you drop a note to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. As mods we don't have anything to do with the back office or the compiling of the guides. I'll send a note - but if you can do so as well that would be helpful.
