Hi freefee

I would expect you to get a migration letter at some point. I thought they were hoping to move everyone by the end of the year, but that may not be the case.

Are you sure you are in the LCW group and not the Support Group (also known as LCWRA)? LCW is otherwise known as the Work Related Activity Group. if you are receiving old style contributory ESA then I would have thought you would be in the Support Group. Contributions based ESA for people in the LCW / WRAG group is time limited to 365 days unless it is income related. If it really is conts based LCW have you recently been reviewed and moved from the Support Group to WRAG?

How much ESA do you receive either weekly or fortnightly?

Hi Robbie

The LCWRA payment rates are changing in a few months ( 6 April 2026 ). So those in the LCW/WRAG group who think they qualify for the Support/LCWRA group need to make plans regarding claiming it.

i have last uprating letter,
it says limited capability for work addition
extra money because you are in support group £48.50
it then gives the income related amount but says
however because you are entitled to contribution based esa we will pay you, same amount
maybe it is the limited cacapability for work addition that is confusing me,
