I think if you’re on contributions-based ESA (rather than income_based) and also don’t claim housing costs, you won’t be migrated to UC. But best to check- in case I’m wrong.
That is correct. On the 1 December the DWP is changing the name of Contributions Based ESA to New Style ESA for everyone. You can still claim Income Based ESA as a top up before the 1 December if you have an existing Conts ESA claim.
