Too ill to say you're ill was created by WD
HI,

I'm sure I can't be the only person with this dilemma when filling out a PIP form.

Communication difficulties get in the way of explaining things including explaining my own communication difficulties. Not to mention too agoraphobic to meet them to tell them that I have agoraphobia.Too anxious to talk about anxiety. Too"uncooperative" to be able to discuss uncooperativeness etc.

People may say, "Just get some one else to do it." or even, "Can't you go to the doctor to tell the doctor that you can't go to the doctor? but round and round it goes.

I have added a note at the end of the PIP form about this. Please does anyone have any other tips?

Hi WD

Try not to worry about this. It sounds as if you have already done the sensible thing and told them that your disability limits your communication abilities, both oral and written. If you have a friend or relative who can write a letter which could be included with your form, saying they have witnessed your difficulties with communication, that can be useful (but don't worry if you don't).
