I was recently migrated into UC LCWRA group along with a protected transition amount.
I'm a bit confused on right to earn and declare income if placed in the LCWRA group, as i'm not getting asked to declare any income monthly, presumably because i'm placed in the LCWRA group (?) - i just get a monthly payment record - that's it.
But can i in theory earn up to the work allowance limit each month (and beyond ?) and/or does this jepodise being placed in the LCWRA group at all ?
If i can earn at least up to the work allowance limit each month whilst in the LCWRA - how do i set about declaring any income recieved, given the system currently is set up to presume i don't earn at all and doesnt ask me to declare any monthly earnings ?
As long as you are not self employed you don't have to report your income to the DWP as it is reported to them by your employer via the RTI system. Unlike ESA permitted work there are no limits on your pay and hours but if the work you do contradicts your description of your disabilities then you can expect a health review.
Hope this helps David
