I WAS IN RECEIPT OF INCOME RELATED AND CONTRIBUTORY ESA with enhanced disability and in the support group and have made this clear in my UC application which was completed and is now up and running.
Would be grateful if you’re able to help I checked my ESA payment today that I receive every two weeks and it was £376.78 when it’s usually £513.64 I know the amounts will change because I’ve had to transfer to universal credit. I would be grateful you could explain what has happened. I have received a letter since from the DWP which states that my contribution esa has now finished on 25/11/25 and then on the back of the page it says you’re award for income related ESA will end on the 25/11/25 This is because universal credit is replacing the income related you will get your final payment of income related. ESA covers the period 11/11/25 to 24/11/25. I’m unclear as to which payment I received on 2/12/25 was it the income related esa or contributory esa. As the letter does not confirm.

Your question is not a question we can answer as we do not have all the facts, We would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Specialist; you can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation to help you with advice by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies in your area advicelocal.uk
From your post you state that you were in receipt of IR ESA and CB ESA, what usually happens when you apply for UC, you lose the IR ESA, this becomes UC and CB ESA turns into NS ESA. UC will deduct NS ESA payments £ for £.
