Advice please. My husband is approaching 70 yrs and receives PIP half rate (he missed the full rate by 1 point). Things have worsened massively, over the past 4 years. His needs have changed. Is it possible to get him onto full PIP over pension age. He needs a carer and much more help with personal care and mobility. He has been admitted to hospital 13 times this last year. Appreciate any guidance. Thanks.

Hi sugaplum

As your husband is over state pension age if he receives the standard rate for both Daily Living and Mobility, the he can apply for a change of circumstances for the Daily Living tottery and get the enhanced component but unfortunately he will not be able to apply for the enhanced Mobility component, it would stay at the standard rate.
