Hi All B&W Formites,

The MP office has submitted my case to DWP for response. waiting no indication of how long MP office allow for DWP response. Its another waiting game i guess ....

I was looking back over clmts clm. He submitted 1st fit note on 8 Nov 25 . On the same date Work coach uploaded work plan as follows :

I've agreed with my work coach that I'll:

1. I will upload my CV to my universal credit account, with all of my qualifications on there, by my next appointment, or when my work coach asks for it.

2. I will check for vacancies and apply for those that match my skills and experience on websites like Find a Job.gov.uk for example, and I will keep a record in my job application tab in my Universal Credit account. I am aware that I need to show evidence of 35 hours a week of job searching.

3. I will let my friends & family know that I am looking for work and ask them to let me know of any opportunity that I can apply to according to my skills and experience. I will keep a record in my job application tab in my Universal credit account.

4.My work coach may refer me to work placements, voluntary work, apprenticeships, training courses, employment clubs/fairs or any other work based activity. I will attend on time, have a positive attitude and fully participate.

5 I am aware that I need to attend all my mandatory appointments with my work coach and feedback any changes. I am aware that failure to do so may affect my universal credit claim.

6 I will attend all the appointments booked by my work coach, if I am unable to attend, I will let my work coach know before the appointment via Journal with 24hrs notice.

i dont think should have been done or accepted given that fact a fit note had been submitted .... i thought wk commitments werent applicable while a valid fit note is on file .....am i wrong please correct my understanding?

Hi Sum

A work search condition will be suspended you are unfit for work, for up to 14 consecutive days after you have provided the relevant evidence for this (a self-certificate for the first severn days and a fit note for the second and on no more than two periods in any 12 months, if the DWP is satisfied that it would be unreasonable for you to meet a work search condition.

We would advise you to seek specialist advice from your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk where they can take all your circumstances into consideration when giving you advice.
