Hi,
I have applied for new style ESA and completed a questionnaire which I returned by post last Tuesday.
I have received a letter this morning from DWP advising that it has not been received.
I contacted the DWP and what a palaver that was the advisor kept talking over me and said yes we have your certificate, I said it was the questionnaire I was asking about .
He said to call back on Friday as we don’t have it , he couldn’t check if it was received as far as he was concerned they haven’t got it.
Can anyone advise if this is probably sitting in a queue to be dealt with and that these letters will be generated until looked at.?
I just felt as if the advisor just wanted me off the phone

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum.
Did you send the form in by recorded delivery, if you did check when it was delivered and who signed for it, I would take a screen shot as proof, then contact DWP and relay the information, sometimes post can be delayed from receipt to being added on to the DWP system.
If you did not send it by recorded delivery, did you send it by proof of posting? if not you can only keep trying, unfortunately some post does go missing as DWP received 100's of pieces of mail each day.
