UC with LCWRA - Divorcing now they've removed my LCWRA?? Is this right?

Hi, desperate for advice on this as i am frantic right now. I transferred from ESA support group to UC back in October on a joint claim with my wife who is my carer. I got the LCWRA transitional payment protection. (Also on #Enhanced care/mobility with PIP 10 year award)

Now, my wife left yesterday and we are divorcing. So, today we made the necessary changes online on the UC account, so she has left the joint claim. However, I now notice in my a/c is that they only thing they will pay me is a standard single persons allowance each month. There is no mention anywhere of my LCWRA payment being paid to me.

What?!? Has it been removed simply because of me making the change on my a/c of the wife leaving me? This can't be right, can it? How do I live on that? Any help GREATLY appreciated.

Hi cricket

When is the date of your next UC payment? Four days prior to this your payment statement will be posted to the UC account. As your wife only left yesterday I would give them a bit of time to rebuild the claim. You could always send a UC Journal message to the Case Manager. To do that choose from the recipients list the option " A Payment ".
Let us know how you get on.
