I had my May statement on the 30th of April and my uc goes in on the 5th of May. I get UC twice a month but the new rate they have put is that I be getting £426 both on those two dates. That my Tp gone down and my esa taken off is wrong as well I think. Unsure new style esa as had no letter to say any changes. My rent is right which they pay to the land lord. But I don't understand the amount of uc. I have written in my journal on the 30th but no reply yet. Yet money goes in on Tuesday
If you have a UC Transitional Element unfortunately the way the system works is that you miss out on the annual Benefits uprating. This is intentional and was devised by the previous Tory governments to reduce the Benefits bill.
