ADP (PIP) review was created by Estibeiro
Hi, I wrote a question here last week but never saw it appear or be answered so sorry if sending it again is a mistake.
I've been on PIP then ADP for many years for mental health reasons. I always thought it was wrong that I didn't get the points for Planning a Journey and Budgetting as these are two areas I struggle with immensely. But I heeded advice I think I heard here that it was not worth appealing on that because I had enhanced rate for the first section of the benefit and I might lose that if I appealed.
When they changed the rules about how Mental health affected Planning a Journey they still failed me on the reconsideration.
When I last had a review I was really poorly and just ticked 'no change' for an easy life even though I believe I am worse than I was when I applied. Since then I saw that Benefits and Work advises that there is a significant risk doing that of losing everything (though I forget where I read it and what the percentages were). So I've turned my brain to mush filling out the whole thing as if it was a new claim. But the temptation is still there to just tick 'no change' and not stir up any hornets nests like having to go through a new assessment.
I know no one can actually tell me what to do but I'd really appreciate someone's perspective on this (that hasn't turned their brain to mush) as I really don't know what to do for the best.
With thanks.
