Universal Credit was created by barbaraposner
Hi
I have been in the Universal Credit LCWRA for five years since I began working approximately 2 days a week ( the hours are spread out over several days and are term time only). Previously I had been in the ESA LCWRA group. I have now been given a 'telephone review' to check I am receiving the correct rate of benefits. I work just a bit less than 16 hours, but I am paid slightly more than minimum wage- hence the transfer to Universal Credit.
The interview will be expected to last 30 minutes. What questions should I expect to get? I have not had a review since I was last on ESA, when I filled in a form but was not called to interview. Which of your guides do you recommend I read to prepare for this? Will there be a Work Capability Assessment? In which case why do an telephone interview, instead of sending me a form? Naturally I am very nervous about this and am certain they want to reduce my rate, even though I am struggling at work and at home with my disability.

Hi barbaraposner
This interview has no connection with a WCA at all.
UC conduct various types of reviews. There is the annual Automated Claim review which applies to everyone. There is also the Targeted Case review. It is highly likely your review was prompted by an IT system. They will not be talking about your health but rather savings and expenditure.
Let us know how you get on.
