At a loose end? was created by Joe2027
I recently had a work focussed interview, all of it was concentrating on my health - two heart attacks - heart disease, spinal and legs problems.

It said in my personal account of UC that I needed to do 16 hours a week work preparation under commitments.

When I asked my work coach what work preparation meant.

I got a general reply of it's CV preparation and training courses, but no specific work preparation activities set in my work plan or commitments from my work coach.

I knew before I transferred over UC I was in the LCW group under ESA.

Is the best course of action to do voluntarily some work preparation activities?

The commitment of work preparation seems to be open and voluntary rather than a prescribed activities set by my work coach.

I'm confused.

Hi Joe2027

Your Benefit can only be sanctioned for non compliance with a claimant commitment if an actual activity has been defined and you have agreed to it by clicking on the green button on your UC account. So it looks like no training course has yet been defined. But CV preparation has been mentioned. So in that case I would look at some online guides on CV preparation.
